Angus Beef comes from the Angus breed of cattle. The meat produced by this breed has a naturally higher marbling quality to it. Marbling means the fat is dispersed evenly throughout the cut of meat. This creates a more tender, juicy and flavorful meat. While all meats are classified by the USDA Angus steak is also certified by The American Angus Associate. The AAA has its own certification system to ensure the highest quality of choice beef.

Preferred cooking method: Grilling will induce the flame flavor that can’t be replicated on the stove. However, you can pan sear them and then put them in an oven.

 Preferred seasoning: we just use salt and black pepper. However, feel free to try a BBQ sauce or marinade of your choice!

Gaucho tips:

  1. Use 1 teaspoon of coarse kosher salt per pound of meat
  2. Bring your steak to room temperature to ensure even cooking
  3. Let the meat rest 5-10 minutes before cutting into it.
